Minimum of a master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent field, A minimum of eight (8) years professional experience in the field of technology services, with at least five (5) years of management experience in Information Technology; school district management or administrative capacity is preferred, Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) certification required, The CTO leads and manages a staff including managers and individual contributors that compose the Information and Education Technology teams. In addition, the CTO provides educational technology and teacher training to enable staff and student success.
In charge of employee training and development who fully embraces e -Learning in all its formats.
Responsibilities are:
- To formulate the strategy to drive learning direction, goals, and policies.
- To disseminate knowledge and information to the learner through technology, social media, and occasionally, through human resources (instructors).
- To develop and track future training trends related to ICT.
- To arrange training for latest and advanced ICT Tools and LMS as per the need of time.
- To coordinate smooth functioning of LMS, ERP or any other learning platform / tools and provide support for resolving the issues.
- To integrate, upgrade and develop new technology or software related to ICT.
- To ensure the guidelines of e-learning are implemented at the school / department level.
- Responsible for Technology targets in strategic plan.
- Lead, direct, and manage the Information Technology Services Division and provide leadership and direction by developing and articulating a clear vision of technology uses and benefits.
- Plans, directs, coordinates, and implements new and existing technology, systems, and
applications for continuous support to business and academic operations. Oversees and guides the information technology infrastructure to maximize efficiency, productivity, and access.
- Ensure the delivery of quality technology and support through effective needs assessment, and system design, and selection and implementation processes. Interacts with internal and external customers to define needs, evaluate operations, and enact improvements and enhancements.
- Lead, direct, and manage the Information Technology Services Division and provide leadership and direction by developing and articulating a clear vision of technology uses and benefits.
- Any other responsibility assigned by higher authorities time to time.
